A-VA-LON: is derived from the Old Celtic word “alfal”, meaning apple.  The apple tree is the Celtic symbol of “Life and Love” and is believed to be the source of all sensual and spiritual sustenance. It is known in Irish tales as the “Tree of Life”, one that grows on a magical island called Avalon, The Isle Of Apples. Avalon is the legendary place where all who voyage there were renewed, rejuvenated, revitalized and restored.
